The invention relates to a piece of furniture with a furniture body and a folding flap.
It is known to use folding doors for covering furniture instead of doors. Folding flaps are characterized in that they occupy little space in the open, collapsed state and thereby. increase the freedom of movement in cramped kitchens.
In certain application areas, in particular upwardly movable folding flaps may be advantageous. In this context, for example, upper cabinets in kitchens are called. In the patents EP 1 713 999 B1 and DE 201 00 662 U1 such, upwardly movable folding flaps are disclosed. It is characteristic that these, belonging to the state of the art folding flaps consist of two partial flaps.
A disadvantage is that these folding flaps are not suitable to furniture that exceeds a certain size, or, for. even cover entire areas of a kitchen. This is mainly due to the fact that the two partial flaps are very bulky under these circumstances and the two-leaf folding flap in the folded state protrudes very far into the room. The actual advantage of a folding flap is thereby called into question. Regardless of the weight of the two partial flaps is so large that the folding flap can be opened only with a lot of force. The force required for this purpose can no longer be applied by the lifting devices usually used with smaller folding flaps.
The object of the present invention is to avoid the disadvantages described above and a folding flap which is improved over the prior art and which can be used universally and in particular for covering large furniture or, e.g. Whole areas of a kitchen is suitable to indicate. * * * * * * * »I» · «* · · I ··« «* · * ··» »f ·» 11 * * * «** 4 ** 2
This object is achieved in that the folding flap aulweist at least three superimposed partial flaps, wherein a first partial flap relative to the furniture body, a second partial flap relative to the first partial flap and a third partial flap is pivotally mounted relative to the second partial flap.
A basic idea of the invention is thus to construct a folding flap, which consists of at least three partial flaps.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the fronts of the at least three partial flaps are in one plane when the folding flap is closed.
In the fully open state, a particularly space-saving arrangement of the three partial flaps is characterized in that the first partial flap, which is pivotally mounted relative to the furniture body, is arranged substantially horizontally and / or above the furniture body. Advantageously, then the front of the second partial flap has an obtuse angle ot relative to the front of the first partial flap and the front of the third partial flap has an acute angle β relative to the front of the second partial flap. Generally, an angle is referred to as "dull if the value of the angle is greater than 90 ° and less than 180 °, and" acute "if the value of the angle is greater than 0 ° and less than 90 °. Preferably, the angle α assumes a value between 125 ° and 145 ° and the value of the angle β a value between 60 ° and 75 °.
Since the folding flap according to the invention is intended in particular for particularly large furniture or, e.g. To cover entire areas of a kitchen, it is advantageous if the width of the folding flap is greater than 1 meter and / or the heights of the at least three partial flaps are greater than 0.25 meters.
If the first partial flap in the fully opened state of the folding flap is disposed substantially above the furniture body, then it may be advantageous if the first partial flap is higher than the other two partial flaps and e.g. has a height greater than 0.5 meters. In this way it is possible to "stow away" the largest possible part of the folding flap (in the fully opened state) in a very space-saving manner. In a preferred embodiment, the height of the first partial flap is also greater than the depth of the furniture body.
The feature that the first partial flap is pivotally mounted relative to the furniture body, can be technically realized, for example, that this partial flap is connected via hinge lever with the furniture body. The relative pivotability of the second partial flap with respect to the first partial flap and / or the third partial flap with respect to the second partial flap can be solved by these partial flaps are connected by hinges.
In order to simplify the opening or the closing of the folding flap, it is provided that at least one of the partial flaps, preferably the third partial flap, is movable via an adjusting device. The remaining partial flaps then passively pass over the actuating flap movable part flap. Such an actuator may be technically e.g. be realized with the help of two guideways, wherein the movable over the adjusting device part flap, for example via a respective lever and a guide device is connected to the guideways. In the simplest case, the guideways are linear. Accordingly, the guide devices are then linear guides. Assigning now the guideways at an angle γ to each other, where γ advantageously has a value between 5 ° and 20 ° and is preferably about 12 °, and is used as a lever, via which the movable over the actuator part flap is connected to the guideways , Articulated lever, so performs a linear displacement of the two linear guides along the two guideways in the course of the opening or closing operation at the same time to a continuous pivoting of this partial flap.
In cases where the folding flap assumes very large dimensions and is therefore very heavy, the opening or closing process can be facilitated by the fact that at least one of said guide devices, via which the movable over the actuator part flap is connected to the guideways, » «··« * · * · t · «« ιΜ * «· # t · ·« |
* * * * * · T i 4 I * «* * I '· · * ·« * * * ··· »« · · * ♦ * * * t * «·« ··· 4 can be driven by a drive. As drive, e.g. a belt drive can be used.
In the simplest case, the above-described adjusting device is arranged laterally on the furniture body.
It can be provided to arrange internals, preferably wash basins, extractor hoods, and / or lights, in the space that can be closed by the folding flap.
Furthermore, it makes sense to integrate the furniture according to the invention with the folding flap into a built-in furniture, in particular for a living room or kitchen wall. Such a built-in furniture can e.g. comprise a plurality of drawers and / or doors, which are arranged for example below and / or next to the folding flap. From an aesthetic point of view, it can be advantageous for the front of the closed folding flap to be flush with the front sides of the drawers and / or doors.
Further details and advantages of the present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the description of the figures with reference to the exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings. Show:

5a and 5b are two perspective views of a built-in furniture for a kitchen wall, in which the furniture of the invention is integrated; on the one hand with fully opened and on the other hand with closed folding flap.
In the preferred embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, the furniture 1 according to the invention comprises a furniture body 2 and a folding flap 3, wherein the folding flap 3 has three partial flaps 3a, 3b and 3c arranged one above the other. The first part flap 3a is connected via articulated lever 4 to the furniture body 2 and thus pivotally mounted relative to the furniture body. In the drawing, two of the four articulated levers 4, via which this partial flap 3a is connected to the furniture body 2, can be seen. The two other articulated levers 4 are attached to the opposite side wall of the furniture body 2. The second partial flap 3b is connected to the first partial flap 3a via two hinges 5 and can thus be pivoted relative to this first partial flap 3a. In the same way, the third partial flap 3c is connected to the second partial flap 3b. The third partial flap 3c is movable via an adjusting device 6. This adjusting device 6 comprises two linearly formed guideways 7, wherein on the guideways 7 each have a linear guide 9 is arranged, which is connected via a respective articulated lever 8 with the partial flap 3c. The two guideways 7 are arranged at an angle γ to each other. The left of the two linear guides 9 can be moved by a belt drive 10. As a result, the partial flap 3c on the furniture body 2 is movable from bottom to top or in the opposite direction. Due to the fact that the two guideways 7 have an angle γ to one another, the partial flap 3c is simultaneously tilted during this movement. The other two partial flaps 3a and 3b passively follow this translational or tilting movement. It should be noted that the described adjusting device 6 is arranged on both sides of the furniture body 2. In the drawing, however, only one of the two adjusting devices 6 is visible, since the second adjusting device 6 is covered by a side wall of the furniture body 2. A synchronization of the two adjusting devices 6 via a synchronization rod fourteenth
In Fig. 1, the folding flap 3 is shown in the fully open state. In this state, the first partial flap 3a is disposed completely above the furniture body 2. The front of the second partial flap 3b has an obtuse angle α relative to the front of the first partial flap 3a, while the front of the third partial flap 3c has an acute angle β relative to the front of the second partial flap 3b. In the preferred embodiment, the height a of the first Teilkiappe 3a is greater than the depth e of the furniture body 2 and thus protrudes slightly beyond the furniture body 2 in the fully opened Faltklappenstellung.
FIG. 2 shows a side view of the preferred embodiment shown in perspective in FIG. 1. The folding flap 3 is in turn fully opened. In this representation, it can be clearly seen that the first part flap 3a is arranged horizontally in this folding flap position, that the front of the second part flap 3b relative to the front of the first part flap 3a has an obtuse angle α of about 135 ° and that the front of the third part flap 3c has an acute angle β of about 65 ° relative to the front of the second partial flap 3b. The two guideways 7 are arranged at an angle y of about 12 ° to each other. In addition to the components already mentioned in the description of FIG. 1, reference should also be made to • the mounting parts 15 and 16 as well as 24 and 25, by means of which the articulated levers 4 are fastened to the partial flap 3a or to the furniture carcass 2, • the rail 17 , which is attached to the partial flap 3c and whose two ends are pivotally connected to the two articulated levers 8, • the fastening elements 18, 19 and 23, by means of which the adjusting device 6 is mounted substantially on the furniture body 2, and • the workpiece 20, the two rollers 21 and the endless belt 22, which are essentially necessary for the realization of the belt drive.
In this case, the belt 22 is connected to the left linear guide 9. A movement of the belt 22 therefore results in a translational movement of this linear guide 9, which in turn moves the partial flap 3 c via the articulated lever 8 fastened to it.
In Fig. 3, the essential, necessary for the technical implementation of the actuator in the preferred embodiment, individual components in an exploded view to see. It will be appreciated that the belt drive drive unit 10 (left to right) includes a plurality of gears, a mounting plate, and an electric motor. The two linear guides 9 each consist of two assembly components, which in the assembled state, the guideways 7 comprise a clip and to which two wheels for the smoothest possible locomotion of the linear guides 9 are mounted on the guideways 7.
The sequence of four images of the preferred embodiment shown in FIGS. 4a to 4d serves to illustrate an opening or closing operation of the folding flap 3. FIG. 4a is the same view as that shown in FIG , Therefore, only the essential components have been provided with reference numerals in this figure. They are representative of the remaining three images. Starting from the fully opened state of the folding flap 3, which is shown in FIG. 4a, FIGS. 4b and 4c show two intermediate positions of the folding flap 3 and FIG. 4d shows the folding flap 3 in the closed state. It can be clearly seen that a movement of the belt 22 leads to a linear movement of the two linear guides 9 and thus to a translational or tilting movement of the partial flap 3c. The partial flaps 3b and 3a are moved passively. In FIG. 4d, the heights of the three partial flaps 3a, 3b and 3c are denoted by a, b and c, respectively (representative of all drawings). The width of the folding flap 3 provided with the reference numeral d, while the depth of the furniture body 2 is denoted by e. As can be seen, the heights b and c of the two partial flaps 3b and 3c are the same size. The first partial flap 3a is approximately twice as large as the two other partial flaps 3b and 3c and at the same time larger than the depth e of the furniture carcass 2. Absolute values of the preferred embodiment are: b - c - 0.35 m; a = 0.7 m; d = 1.7 m and e = 0.5 m.
Figures 5a and 5b show two perspective views of a built-in furniture 11 for a kitchen wall, in which the furniture 1 according to the invention is integrated. In this case, Fig. 5a, the folding flap 3 in the fully open state, whereas the folding flap 3 is closed in Fig. 5b. The built-in furniture 11 comprises in addition to the furniture according to the invention four cabinet doors 13, of which two are arranged to the right and left of the folding flap 3 and a plurality of drawers 12, which are arranged below the folding flap 3. As already stated in the introductory part of the description, the folding flap 3 can be used to cover entire areas of a kitchen. To this area can e.g. a sink 26, a stove 27 or a hood 28 count. Furthermore, it is conceivable that within the furniture 1 according to the invention, for example, even more shelves are mounted.
